Encompass Group Fitness Classes:
Barre: Barre is a total body workout. We incorporate small isometric movements which target specific areas on the body. Often pushing your muscles to the point of fatigue (aka. shaky legs). Barre integrates elements of Pilates, strength training and dance.. with bursts of cardio, HIIT and weights (however, it does not require previous dance experience). Our barre will lift your buns, tone your thighs and tighten your abdominals—while creating lean muscle mass, while burning some major calories.
Barre & Yoga Infused: This upbeat class incorporates both barre and yoga in a challenging but fun workout. Sculpt and tone while lengthening muscles for total body conditioning.
Candle Light Yoga: Enjoy a darkened spacious room full of candles ready to melt your stress away. A Vinyasa Flow that begins with heat-building sun salutations and standing poses using props to assist in supporting the body. A great way to reboot. Suitable for all levels.
Circuit Cardio: Body conditioning, endurance training, and resistance training using series of high intensity exercises, performed in rotation. We will include different equipments such as text bands, weights, resistance bands and etc. It's like a game of musical chair!
Find your Flow: A practice of self discovery through physical movement. An immersive experience of your soul + body + mind. Guided instructed & musically driven carefully designed to flow with the music, and allow you to find FLOW in your body! The class invites you to find both grace and power, and tap into the PLAY of your inner child! Result: A liberating, heart expanding, feel good experience. Suitable for all levels.
HIGH Fitness: HIGH Fitness is an emerging leader in group fitness, inspiring people from all walks of life to a lifestyle of better health and overall wellness. HIGH transforms old school aerobics into a highly addictive new fitness experience that combines simple, modern fitness techniques (i.e. HIIT, plyometrics, etc.) with music you know and love. Phunk Fit: What is PHunk Fit™️?! PF is a dance cardio class that focuses on our PHIVE Elements®️: MUSICALITY, STYLE, PROGRESSION, REPETITION, & HIIT. It’s an ultimate cardio killing class, with dance moves created for you to master & not intimidate! While getting a total body workout, you have freedom to move, find your personal style and have fun doing it! Join the phunky hype!
Pilates: Classical mat based Pilates with props, for a better functioning life. Increase body awareness, core strength and biomechanics. Wear yoga appropriate work out clothes, bring a mat and water.
Pilates + TRX Infused: Start with a mat pilates warm up to find your core strength and alignment. Then increase the challenge by adding in the TRX suspension trainers to create a fun athletic flow.
Prenatal & PostPartum Yoga: Yoga poses, meditations and inspiration for expecting and new mamas. This class will provide poses that are beneficial while pregnant and will help you prepare for labor. When your body is producing extra hormones your joints are looser, appropriate engagement in the poses is especially important while pregnant. In addition, a variety of poses for postpartum will help you regain muscle tone and energy. This will help support you in connecting to your new body and baby.
TRX Suspension Training:The TRX Suspension Trainer is a workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. You will receive a fast and effective total-body workout, build a rock-solid core and increase your muscular endurance. All levels are welcome!
TWERQ: IT’S EXACTLY WHAT YOU THINK IT IS. Leave your inhibitions at the door, and your sweat on the floor. Twerq is a music video inspired Dance Class designed to burn calories, while dropin it like it’s hot! Naomi (choreographer from So You Think You Can Dance) will inspire you with her 8-counts and will channel your inner Super Star with choreography. All levels are welcome (16 and older only).
Wake Up & Flow: This class is designed to amp up your day. Start gently with connection to breath and sun salutations. Move into a deeper sequence to bring your entire body to life and set a great pace for the rest of your day.
Yoga HIIT: In this class you will experience high intensity interval training paired with a power yoga sequence. Your heart rate will stay up to help burn fat more quickly. Expect a series of cardio bursts with brief recovery periods. HIIT targets anaerobic exercises such as squats, deadlifts and weights, while Yoga stabilizes the muscles. Combine Yoga with HIIT leaves room for less strain on knees, provides a complete workout in less time and provides connection through the breath. All levels are welcome! Bring a towel and water.
Yoga Wheel Flow: In this guided class you will explore the benefits of the Yoga Wheel. A traditional Vinyasa flow will be incorporated into each class. You will learn how to safely backbend, breathe deeply into each posture, increase flexibility, increase blood flow and how to use the Yoga Wheel to deepen your practice. All levels are welcome! We have a maximum of 15 wheels available or bring your own.
Encompass Meditation Classes:
Meditation for Beginners: New to meditation? Learn how to become more mindful and live in the present moment. Meditation will teach you how to become more aware and gain a deeper sense of relaxation. Each meditation will begin class by using aromatherapy to help you settle onto your meditation pillow.
Kundalini Meditation: Land into your senses, experience peace, mental clarity, connection to your inner and higher self and develop your intuition. This class will focus on specific beauty benefits like stimulating collagen production and increase the elasticity in the skin. By taking you through a series of specific breathing exercises, using mantras, mudras and eye focus, you will leave feeling in alignment with yourself, with a clear mind and renewed energy. All levels are welcome, no prior meditation experience needed. Additional Kundalini classes may focus on meditations such as: Reduce anxiety and stress, clear & reset your energy, release addictions, increase energy, improve health, …to name a few. Each class will be in tune with the energy and the astrology of the month.
Kundalini Yoga: Kundalini yoga is the yoga of self-acceptance and self-awareness. It’s a practice that helps create new neuron paths in our brains, so we can have more peace, change, and heal. This class will help you to do some of that, and includes breath work, simple kriyas (sets) for tuning up your nervous system, meditation, and always, the gong.
Lunch Break Meditation: Take the time to breathe, to relax and journey within. Enjoy a guided meditation to promote relaxation and help settle the body and mind. Melt into a sound healing experience by applying vibration sounds to rejuvenate and restore the body’s resonant frequencies for positive change and transformation. A variety of instruments will be played during this time. Go back to work or continue your day feeling rejuvenated.
Meditation & Sound Bath: Take the time to breathe, to relax and journey within. We will begin class with 15 minutes of a guided meditation and Pranayama (breathwork) to promote relaxation and help settle the body and mind. Aromatherapy is used in each class to improve the health of the body, mind and spirit. The last part of class will end with a 30 minute Sound Bath. Experience a sound healing experience by applying vibrational sounds to rejuvenate and restore the body’s resonant frequencies for positive change and transformation. A variety of instruments will be played during this time. The results are waves of peace, heightened awareness, and relaxation.
Calm: This meditation is designed to relieve stress and anxiety. You will learn how to breath in a way to feel calm and get out of your head. This meditation will help ground you into the present moment. Each meditation will begin class by using aromatherapy to help you settle onto your meditation pillow.
Sleep: Come in at the end of your day and slow down your mind. This guided meditation will help you become more relaxed and transition from busy life to home and into your bed. Each meditation will begin class by using aromatherapy to help you settle onto your meditation pillow.
Power: Who needs an energy drink? Not you! This guided meditation will use mantras and breath work to naturally increase your energy levels. Each meditation will begin class by using aromatherapy to help you settle onto your meditation pillow.
Compassion: Connect to your heart space. This class focuses on becoming more compassionate and empathetic towards yourself and others. Learn to open your heart to love. Each meditation will begin class by using aromatherapy to help you settle onto your meditation pillow.
Forgiveness: Are you struggling with strong feelings? This meditation will take you step-by-step on working on forgiveness to yourself and others. Learn to focus on the good verses the bad. Each meditation will begin class by using aromatherapy to help you settle onto your meditation pillow.
